“Joseph Pilates

Pilates is a unique exercise system created by Joseph Pilates.  He created the exercises and wanted them in a specific order.  This is what is called “Classical Pilates.”


It is designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the entire body.  Pilates yields numerous benefits.    You elongate and strengthen the muscles, become more flexible, increase lung capacity, improve circulation and coordination (both muscular & mental).  It's often called the mind/body work out because you focus your mind on each exercise, making it flow from one move to another, breathing in coordination with your movements.  Posture balance, and core strength also improve bone density, and joint health.  Balanced with strength and flexibility the body is less likely to be injured.  We teach Classical Pilates on the Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair, Stick and Spine Corrector.




Class Descriptions

Level 1

Level 1 Reformer class for those beginning their practice and a go to for those who have progressed.  May included the various Pilates equipment: mat, stick, ring or jump board. You must attend a minimum of 4 to 6 classes before moving on to another class.


Level 1 Mat & Reformer

In this class both the level one Mat order and Level 1 reformer order will be accomplished with precision and Focus. All levels welcome.


Reformer Level 2

Reformer classical order progression for those who have built a solid foundation.


Reformer Level 3

Reformer classical order progression for those who have built a solid foundation.


Boards, Bands, & Balls

Get your cardio in with the Reformer and jump board. The class uses exercise bands, weighted hand balls, and free weights to pump flex, and tone.


Lean Legs Reformer

This class focuses on your bottom half. Exercises on the reformer will emphasize the shaping and toning of your legs. Other exercises will be performed on the mat or standing.  You must have attended 4 Foundations classes prior to attending this class.


Fit Reformer

This is a reformer class which includes a 15-minute fitness segment to build strength, flexibility, and cardio…must wear sneakers.


Reformer/TRX/Jump Board

A combination of Reformer Level 1 exercises combined with Jump board intervals and a challenging TRX segment…bring sneakers.


Reformer/Barrel/Pilates Stick

Combining a reformer workout with the jump board. Finishing with a routine on the Pilates Stick doing some of your favorite Tower exercises.


Pilates with Props

This is a reformer class that will incorporate weights, bands, balls, and circles.  No 2 classes will be the same.  Something different overtime!  You will need to have 4 Foundations classes prior to attending this class.


Jump Board & Barre

30 minutes of Reformer work and jump board followed by 30 minutes of Barre.


Whole Body Chair

A whole body workout, using the Pilates Chair.  All levels are welcome.


Tower & More

A vertical unit that uses a roll-down bar, arm springs, leg springs, and a bar to provide a full body workout. Experience a whole new feeling working with springs instead of ropes.  This class is limited to 5, so you can expect a lot of individual attention.
